Marek „Rogulus” Rogulski, ur. 1967 w Gdańsku, artysta multimedialny, performer, rzeźbiarz, muzyk i teoretyk sztuki. Absolwent Wydziału Malarstwa i Grafiki Państwowej Wyższej Szkole Sztuk Plastycznych w Gdańsku (1990). Współtwórca ważnych grup artystycznych, takich jak Pampers Maxi (S. Góra, R. Kaja, S. Laskowski, M. Rogulski; 1988–1990) oraz Ziemia Mindel Würm (1990–1992). Jeden z inicjatorów Stowarzyszenia Klub Inicjatyw Społecznych C 14 i Galeria C14~~~ (z Joanną Kabalą i Andrzejem Awsiejem) (1991–1993) oraz współinicjator Fundacji Otwarte Atelier w dawnym budynku Łaźni Miejskiej w Gdańsku (1992–1994). Był również autorem i prowadzącym galerie: Auto da Fe, Spichrz 7 oraz Spiż 7. W 1992 roku powołał i prowadzi do dzisiaj Fundację Tysiąc Najjaśniejszych Słońc, a od 2017 roku opierający się na niej Instytut Cybernetyki Sztuki. Marek Rogulski prowadzi wydawnictwo „sz.sz.sz…”. Od 1999 roku rozwija projekt Poza Postmodernizm.

Marek “Rogulus” Rogulski, b. 1967 in Gdańsk, is a multimedia artist, performer, sculptor, musician, art theorist, and a graduate of the Faculty of Painting and Graphics of the State College of Fine Arts in Gdańsk (1990). He co-founded important artistic groups such as Pampers Maxi (S. Góra, R. Kaja, S. Laskowski, M. Rogulski; 1988–1990) and Ziemia Mindel Würm (1990–1992) and is one of the initiators of the C 14 Social Initiatives Club and C14 Gallery ~~~ (with Joanna Kabala and Andrzej Awsiej; 1991–1993) as well as a co-initiator of the Otwarte Atelier Foundation in the former building of the City Baths in Gdańsk (1992–1994). He was also the founder and manager of galleries: Auto da Fe, Spichrz 7, and Spiż 7. In 1992 he established and continues to run the Tysiąc Najjaśniejszych Słońc Foundation, and since 2017 the Institute of Cybernetics of Art. Marek Rogulski runs the publishing house "sz.sz.sz ...". Since 1999 he has been developing the project Poza Postmodernizm [Beyond Postmodernism].

Uberconsciousness Cocktail – not me was created as part of a project entitled Poza Postmodernizm [Beyond Postmodernism], in which Rogulski verified art trends present beyond the Iron Curtain from the perspective of an artist coming from a communist country in Central-Eastern Europe in the 1980s. Confronting these with Western trends led him to not expand the existing concepts describing art, but also to create new ones, which describe the artistic trends emerging throughout the period of transformation. Rogulski constructed his own theoretical proposals, based on the belief that moving beyond the prevalent trends, including postmodernism, can be achieved through internal transformation and thinking beyond the prevailing patterns.

Uberconsciousness Cocktail … is a carefully thought-out concept that demonstrates that every change and development should start with the individual. Hence, Rogulski’s work can be read as the intention of internal transformation, tantamount to a spiritual journey into oneself and finding a wider perspective for interpreting the world anew in the social, cultural and artistic realm.
